Jefferson County Bean and Grain Conference: Eaglemount Farms will be there
On Friday, April 3, 2015 a regional Bean And grain conference will be held at the Chimacum Grange. Speakers include Krista Rome – author of “Growing Beans and Grains in the Pacific Northwest” and coordinator of the Back Yard Bean and Grain Project . Also speaking will be Nash Huber of Nash’s organic produce and grains. Eaglemount Farms will be part of the program along with Finnriver Farm and Cidery. Our two farms will be presenting results of our 2014 bean and grain trials.
The conference is called “Jefferson Co Grain and Bean Project: Successful Food Systems on the Olympic Peninsula. Growing, harvesting, and milling grains and beans for farmers, gardeners, bakers, and foodies”
